In a €1.2m deal, Dedeman is set to acquire a 34,000 sqm plot in Lugoj from Lugomet. The DIY retailer is planning to build a new store on the plot after it demolishes a part of the former IURT factory which sits on the land.
Lugomet manufactures lifting and transport installations and machines. Its majority shareholder is Titu Bojin, president of the Timis County Council.
