Czech spending at foreign e-shops up 30% in Q2

Cross-border shopping is increasingly popular among Czechs. The volume of purchases in foreign e-shops jumped by a third to CZK 4.4bn in the second quarter 2015, while the number of transactions rose 40 percent. In the first half of the year, e-shop transactions hit CZK 9bn. Czech customers mainly shop for electronics and fashion in UK e-shops. Popularity of Chinese e-shops has also been on the rise, Jan Vetyška, director of the Association for E-Commerce (APEK), told the daily Hospodářské noviny.
