Merkury Market will take over some of the former Baumax stores in the Czech Republic. The Polish DIY chain is entering the Czech market through this acquisition and plans to open its first rebranded stores in December. The weekly Týden writes that Merkury Market is taking over 20 Baumax location in the Czech Republic. Merkury Market already has a Czech website and is going through the European trademark registration process.
