Ikea completes Wola Park expansion

In one of the biggest retail investments the Warsaw market has seen in the past few years, Ikea completed a 17,500 sqm expansion at Wola Park. The retail center now offers 77,500 sqm of space. The new component will feature 25 stores, including Castorama (10,000 sqm), ), TK Maxx (2,000 sqm), Toys “R” Us (1,700 sqm) and Mango (1,100 sqm). The center also has a new 1,200 sqm food court, with 14 restaurants. Expansion work kicked off last summer. Ikea also modernized Wola Park’s existing space. Inter Ikea Centre Group Poland acquired the fully leased center in 2013. The price of the deal was not disclosed.
