Fornetti bakery shops will be rename Minit by mid-2016. The franchise company, which operates the chain in Slovakia and the Czech Republic, announced it is cutting its ties with Hungary’s Fornetti brand. The chain has 400 shops in Slovakia and the Czech Republic. Rebranding will cost between €300,000 and €400,000 (CZK 8-10m). The first store rebranded as Minit opens today in České Budějovice. The chain’s turnover in the two markets totalled CZK 740m in 2014.
