Globe Trade Center secured financing for Galeria Pólnocna from Pekao Investment. The agreement includes two loans, worth €116m and €175m, for the construction and refinancing of the retail center. GTC has seven years to pay off the two loans, which are secured by company shares. Worth €160m, Galeria Północna is more than 30 percent leased to tenants like H&M, Reserved, House, Mohito, Cropp, Sinsay, Home & You and Cinema City. Carrefour will operate a supermarket on the ground floor, while the French chain Kiabi signed on for 1,500 sqm in the project. GTC has also revealed its plan to secure a LEED Gold certificate for the center. Construction is expected to take up to 24 months, with completion set for the first half of 2017.
