Following a €13m investment, Dedeman will open a new 14,000 sqm store in Suceava on Friday. The location will replace the DIY retailer’s original store in the city, which was half the size. The new store will also offer 370 parking spaces and twice as many products. Staff will grow to 206. Dedeman has opened 41 locations, totaling more than 420,000 sqm of retail space, in Romania over the last 12 years. The company has 7,800 employees in the country. It posted a net profit of €92m in 2014. The retailer plans to open four to five new locations this year.
