Deka Immobilien acquired a portfolio of 51 retail properties, totaling 137,000 sqm, in Germany from D&R Invest, which managed the projects for private investors based in the Netherlands. The deal is valued at €700m. The properties are located across Germany in Cologne, Hanover, Regensburg, Kiel and Lüneburg. Properties that D&R Invest took over from Centrum in 2012 are also part of the package. Deka is planning to place 44 properties, valued at €480m, in the newly issued Domus-Einzelhandel-Deutschland fund. The rest of the properties will be placed in other funds.
