Nearly 40 new brand entered the Polish retail market last year, according to the most recent report from the Polish Retail Centre Council (PERCH). The biggest group of newcomers are American fashion retailers (31 percent), followed by Italian (22 percent) and French (14 percent) brands. Most international brands continue to target Warsaw, with the capital attracting 60 percent of the overall demand last year, says Radosław Knap, operating director at PERCH. The city’s Arkadia, Dom Mody Klif and Złote Tarasy signed the most newcomers in 2014.
