Slovakia’s state-owned rail operator plans to build a railway station next to the Bory Mall shopping center on the edge of Bratislava. The company told hnonline.sk that the new station should be completed in 2018 and is expected to cost €5.58m. The new railway station, which is now undergoing EIA proceedings, is part of a system of seven transport hubs planned for the city.
The new station, to be called Bratislava-Lamačská brána, will also feature a P+R for 370 cars. The plan also includes the extension of the Dúbravská arterial road to Bory and later to Devínská Nová Ves.
