Two years after leaving the Romanian market, UK fashion retailer Debenhams said it will open stores in Bucuresti Mall and Plaza Romania. Design work on the new spaces has already started with the openings set for the near-term, according to company reps.
Romanian businessman Octavia Radu first brought the brand to the local market under a franchise agreement but decided to close the company’s six locations after reporting a loss of about €4.4m in 2013.
