Cinema City signs on at Galeria Pólnocna, in talks at Galeria Wilanów

26 February 2015

Cinema City agreed to take 3,300 sqm of space at Globe Trade Centre’s landmark Warsaw retail investment, Galeria Północna. The cinema operator is also in talks to finalize a lease agreement at GTC’s other Warsaw retail center, Galeria Wilanów.

“Cinema City will perfectly complement Galeria Północna’s and Galeria Wilanów’s tenant mixes, so that clients visiting our schemes will be provided with interesting and engaging options, satisfying their commercial, entertainment and culinary needs. We are committed to providing our customers with the best leisure and entertainment offers in these two malls, and a cinema plays an important role in this mix,” said Jacek Wachowicz, a member of the GTC management board.
GTC is currently waiting to obtain construction permits for the two projects. Designed by APA Wojciechowski and Tzur Architects, Galeria Pólnocna will add 60,000 sqm of GLA to Warsaw’s Białołeka district. The developer expects to secure a LEED Gold certificate for the project
