Avion Shopping Park in Bratislava is to undergo a €5m modernization of its interior according to Ikea Centres Slovakia, which developed and manages the enormous shopping mall on the edge of the capital. Company representatives point out that the oldest part of the mall is now 13 years old and is in need of a new interior design as well as new flooring. Roughly €1.1m has been spent since 2012 in improvements that improved the refreshments and the garage facilities as well as an indoor skating rink. Work on the new batch of improvements are to be completed by October, but will be carried out after opening hours.
