The mobile network operator O2 Slovakia has announced that its fourth quarter revenues rose 20 percent compared to the same quarter in 2013 to €63.5m. By the end of 2014, its customer based had risen to 1.68 million, which marked a 9.4 percent gain from the previous year. Investment took up 32 percent of the company’s total revenues, compared to just 10 percent in 2013. The company plans to continue with its network investments during the coming year. ARPU for 2014 was €6 for the company’s pre-paid services, while it was €13.30 for ‘post-paid’ services. A total of 88,300 numbers were ported from competing operators during the course of 2014.
