Echo Investment secured a zoning permit for the Leroy Merlin store it is planning to build in Jelenia Góra as a part of Galeria Sudecka. The project includes retail units, a leisure center and a retail park. The city’s first Leroy Merlin store will offer 15,000 sqm of space on a 5 ha plot, which was secured by the developer last year.
The first phase of Galeria Sudecka is set for completion this year, with 100 retail units, a fitness club and a multiplex cinema scheduled to go on-line in spring. Construction on the two-phase retail park will start next. The Leroy Merlin store will be delivered in the first phase, while furniture stores Komfort (700,000 sqm) and Agata Mebla (10,000 sqm) will go up in final stage of the retail park scheme.
Underway in the city’s Zaborze district, Galeria Sudecka will replace the developer’s previous project, the Echo retail center. The new scheme will cover 50,000 sqm of GLA and parking for 1,800.
