Two years after leaving the Romanian market, Debenhams is returning to Bucharest with two new opening planned for this year. One store will open in Plaza Mall, while a second will open at Bucharest Mall. The company started hiring staff a month ago.
The UK retailer opened its first store at Bucharest Mall in 2007 before leaving the Romanian market in 2013 after losing €4.4m.
