H&M to launch e-shop on Czech market

20 November 2014

H&M plans to launch an e-shop on the Czech market next year. The Swedish retailer wants to start Internet sale in eight countries, including Belgium, Bulgaria, Hungary, Poland, Romania and Portugal. It also plans to expand the network of its brick-and-mortar shops across India, Peru, South Africa and Taiwan, writes the server aktualne.cz. While it’s the second biggest fashion retailer after Spain’s Inditex, which owns the Zara brand, H&M still lags behind its competitors in e-retailing. H&M currently has e-shops in 13 countries. Zara, meanwhile, has an online presence in twice as many countries.
