The developer Ghelamco has reduced the development footprint of the Plac Vogla shopping center, its first retail scheme in Poland, from 12,000 sqm to just 5,000 sqm. The move comes despite the fact that the developer had already secured the building permit for 12,000 sqm of retail and service space. Plac Vogla is set to go up in Warsaw’s Wilanów district. The developer secured all the necessary permits last year, but construction has since been delayed. The Alma grocery chain already signed on for 1,500 sqm of space in the project.
