Leroy Merlin opened a store at the Electroputere Park shopping center in Craiova today. This is the French DIY retailer’s second location on the Romanian market since opening in 2011. The company also has a store in Bucharest, where sales reached €25m last year.
Leroy Merlin is currently working to open a second location in Bucharest and recently signed an agreement with the Austrian group BauMax to takeover 15 of its stores in Romania. The deal needs to be approved by the Competition Council. Electroputere Park was developed by BelRom.
