British Land has announced the closing of a pair of new leasing deals at Wheatley Retail Park, an asset it operates in Doncaster. The deals were to Next PLC and to Marks & Spencer Group PLC’s Simply Food. Next is reportedly increasing its footprint, expanding to 23,518 square feet, which includes a full cover mezzanine floor for 15 years. Marks & Spencer Simply Food is making its debut at the retail park with a 12,502 unit. Speaking on the deal, British Land Asset Manager Duncan Reader said “Both retailers are known for driving footfall and will enhance the already strong tenant mix at the park.”
