The Coresi shopping center, under development in Brasov by Immochan Romania, is 60 percent completed. Delivery is set for March 2015. The project’s first tenant, an Auchan hypermarket, is scheduled to move into the space this December, said Tatian Diaconu, director of Immochan Romania. Other tenants will follow gradually. Up to 30 percent of the retailers are expected to be local companies. The first phase of the project will offer 45,000 sqm of lettable space. Diaconu said if the first phase is successful, the developer will begin work on the second phase. Brasov is one of the least developed cities in terms of existing modern retail projects, according to DTZ Echinox.
