The Dayli Plus chain will grow to 300 drugstores in Poland over the next two years, Dariusz Bromboszcz, the company’s sales director, told Newseria Business. He added that Poland’s recovering market is what’s driving the plans. “We’re a Polish company, and this is why we are looking to deploy as much capital into the domestic market as possible, in an effort to add more jobs to the Polish labor market,” Bromboszcz said.
The company also revealed that as a part of its expansion plan, it will be developing a new convenience store model, a format it sees increased demand for from Polish consumers.
“Our plans involve doubling the number of stores we’re currently operating in the country, but our expansion plans shot up after we took over the Schlecker chain back in 2012, with four new stores going on-line in Poland in March alone,” Bromboszcz says.
