Revetas Capital in talks to buy Vitantis Shopping Center

Revetas Capital is in advanced talks to buy Vitantis Shopping Center from Equest Balkan Properties. The Bucharest retail project has accumulated debts of more than €44m. Key tenants at the center, which offers 36,000 sqm of leasable space, include Carrefour, Praktiker, Domo and Casa Rusu. Equest Balkan Properties bought the shopping center in 2006 for €31.6m and has invested more than €30m into the property through a loan obtained from UniCredit Bank. Revetas Capital specializes in the acquisition of distressed assets.
