One of the biggest DIY stores by Leroy Merlin went online this week in the city of Płock, providing 15,000 sqm of new commercial space to the region. Skanska Property Poland delivered the project in eight months. In addition to the store, the scheme includes a two-story building for office and social space. “We also provided the public road for the 24,000 sqm zone along with an above-ground parking garage for 450 cars,” said Maciej Cholewa of Skanska Property Poland. Leroy Merlin is one of the developer’s key clients. Skanska has already built 11 buildings around Poland for the retailer, including facilities in Warsaw, Szczecin, Rumia, Zgorzelec, Kalisz, Toruń, Puławy, Zielona Góra and Poznań.
