The liquidator for the former Prefa factory site in Brasov is hoping to net €17.4m for the property. An auction will be on March 19. The land was bought by an American investor, Jonathan Mann, in 2007 with plans to build 10,000 sqm of residential apartments. However, BJJ Proiecte Imobiliare, the project’s developer, has since filed for bankruptcy.
Mann bought the 10 acres of land from the businessman Ioan Neculaie for €50m.
