King’s Street Retail expanded its Polish retail portfolio this week when it acquired the 32,500 sqm Galeria Leszno from the private equity investor Energoutech 1. The terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Since its opening in 2006, Galeria Leszno has attracted a number of top retailers, including H&M, C&A, New Yorker, Stradivarius, Deichmann, SMYK, Douglas, Rossmann, Media Expert and Empik. The shopping center is anchored by Intermarché supermarket and Praktiker DIY store. The center is not fully leased.
King’s Street Retail’s has six retail assets in its Polish portfolio, including Magnolia Park in Wrocław, Galeria Twierdza in Kłodzko, Galeria Twierdza in Zamość, Galeria Pestka in Poznań, Wzorcownia in Włocławek, Galeria Tęcza in Kalisz and the newly acquired Galeria Leszno. The combined GLA of the portfolio totals 240,000 sqm of space.
