The American property fund Blackstone and the Polish developer Rank Progress closed the deal on a restaurant space adjacent to Galeria Twierdza in the city of Kłodzko. Blackstone bought the restaurant building neighboring the shopping mall, which it acquired in 2011, for €1.3m. The restaurant, Broaster Chicken, has already been leased. “Under the pre-sell agreement that was conducted with Blackstone in 2011, we agreed to build this restaurant, as well as to carry out the leasing process,” said Jan Mroczka, head of Rank Progress. The transaction will be included in the developers 2012 fourth-quarter financial report.
Blackstone bought Galeria Twierdza for €38m in 2011.
