Popoviciu wants to sell 15,000 sqm of land

Baneasa Investments company, controlled by businessman Gabriel Popoviciu, wants to sell a 15,000 sqm plot in the Barbu Vacarescu area, from the capital, according to Wall Street.

It is rumored that the potential buyer is the Swedish company Skanska, which seems to be interested in developing an office building on the location.

Skanska officials told daily news portal ZF.ro that they are in talks for the acquisition of land in the Barbu Vacarescu area, but made no other comments on the issue.

The sale price of the land is thought to be between €7.5m to €8m.
