Portico Investments has sealed two new deals on the Polish retail market this week, after taking the retail park in Racibórz this month. The properties are located in the Silesia’s Zabrze Czechowice Dziedzice cities, and are currently fully-occupied by long-term tenants, including Biedronka, Rossmann, Textil Market and ING bank. At the time of the purchase, the fund revealed it has further acquisitions planned for Poland this year, though no useful details has been disclosed at this stage.
“Portico Investment continues the present pace of acquisitions and it is currently carrying out due diligence on a number of additional projects, so in 2012 we expecting further closings” says Robert Hermán, Acquisitions and Investments Director, Portico. Portico now holds 11 properties in its Polish portfolio, and 60 across CEE. So far this year, it has taken over 6 assets in Poland, Romania and Hungary.
