24 October 2012

According to Polish media reports, construction on the Grunwaldzki passage expansion in Wrocław could kick off next year. The project has been put on hold due to a lack of market research, which is now underway, said Wojciech Gepner, a representative of Echo Investment. Design work of the passage is moving forward. The work was originally set to start in September, but the company announced the investment has been put on hold until next year.
Echo said it is now talking with tenants for the expanded part of the investment. Delivered in 2007, the Grunwaldzki passage brought 130,000 sqm of new space to the local market, of which 52,000 sqm is retail.
