KFC opened its 18th restaurant in Bucharest in the Cora Lujerului hypermarket. The fast food chain expects the new 138 sqm restaurant, an investment of €240,000, will bring in €700,000 during its first year of operation. This is the fifth new KFC restaurant to open on the Romanian market this year.

In May, KFC opened its third restaurant in the city of Cluj and two drive-through restaurants in the cities of Arad and Iasi.

The chain also has restaurants in Timisoara, Cluj-Napoca, Suceava, Oradea Pitesti and Brasov.
