Intermarche opened a new 2,400 sqm store in the Ferio shopping mall in Konin. The French retailer took the space previously occupied by Bomi, which went bankrupt last summer. After it fell, Bomi left behind some prime spots in malls across the country, where it had been an anchor tenant. According to unofficial sources, one of the main reasons behind Bomi’s insolvency was poor management and market constraints.
