The French supermarket chain Auchan opened its 17th store in Hungary. The new store, previously a Cora supermarket, is located in the city of Miskolc and company officials claim it has more than 300 employees. The company was granted permission in April by the Hungarian anti-monopoly board to buy up Cora stores across Hungary. The acquisition included more than 2,700 employees.
