After hiring more than 307 people over the summer for its Łodź center, Nordea Bank expects to increase its workforce by an additional 200 more employees. “We’re very pleased with the center,” said Mikołaj Ługowski, head of Nordea’s operational center. “Due to the projects planned and the company’s strategy for 2014, we’re now considering more locations across the country and the CEE region.”
The business service sphere is currently one of the faster growing sectors in Poland. There was just 69 service centers operating in Poland in 2006. By the end of 2011, the number had reached 337.
