Intermarche to open in Ferion

21 September 2012

The French hypermarket chain Intermarche has moved into the Ferion shopping mall in the city of Konin, taking a total of 2,400 sqm of space previously occupied by a Bomi store. The completion of fit out work in the new store took two months, and the hypermarket is now ready to open. There will be 60 jobs added to the local labor market thanks to the store.
“Intermarche Group took a new direction two years ago, focusing on locations in the larger shopping malls. The opening of this new store fits this strategy. It also proves the company is capable of taking the location from other retail operators,” Marek Feruga, head of Intermarche Group in Poland.
