Echo Investment recently acquired two plots totaling 9,000 sqm for its Korona mall project in Brasov, which will break ground soon. The project was originally announced in 2008 but was delayed due to lack of funds.
This acquisition of the two plots is an important step for developing Korona Mall which will be the largest shopping and entertainment center of Brasov, according Materny Marcin, director of Echo.
The first phase of the project will include 35,000 sqm, while 10,000 sqm will be added in the second phase. There will also be 1,400 parking spots.
The first phase of the complex is scheduled for completion next year, according to the news server economica.net.
