REWE Romania, the company that operates the Penny Market and Penny Market XXL network of discount stores, has opened its fourth store in Bucharest, the 135th in its network.
The new store is located in sector 4, has a sales area of 780 sqm and has 52 parking spaces, the Mediafax news agency reports. The store will have 20 employees.
REWE Romania, owned by German retailer REWE, owns 129 Penny Market stores and 6 Penny Market XXL units. The group is also present in Germany, Austria, Italy, Ukraine, Hungary, Russia, Czech Republic and Bulgaria.
