Lidl has opened a new store in the capital. It’s the 143rd Lidl in the country, and Bucharest’s tenth. The German discount chain plans to end 2012 with a network of 200 stores.
One of the largest retail chains in Europe, it’s activate in over 20 countries with more than 100 logistics centers providing supply for approximately 9,000 stores. It’s listed as one of the top 10 food retailers worldwide, employing over 170,000 people.
