Investors and developers CPI Group and COPA Group have started construction of COPA Centrum, a long-delayed mixed use complex at Národní street above the Národní metro station. The complex, built by Metrostav as general contractor, will cost CZK 3.3bn and is scheduled for completion in two years. The metro station will undergo extensive reconstruction, and will have direct access to the retail component of the project. COPA Centrum will offer a combination of 8,400 sqm of retail, 16,400 sqm of office and 2,600 sqm of flats in a separate building.
