Metro’s zoning plots go on sale across Poland

10 July 2012

With demand rising in Poland for zoning plots, it’s being reported that 50 plots are expected to go on sale in 28 Polish cities, including Warsaw, Kraków, Katowice, Gdańsk, Wrocław and Poznań. The German-based retail operator Metro Properties is preparing to offload 48 ha of land across the country, having established four retail chains in the country: Pakto Cash & Carry, Real, Media Markt and Saturn. “We are looking to optimize our property portfolio. Most of the plots, located near our shopping centers and in retail parks, are no longer useful for us. On the other hand, we’ll still look for new plots, for new investments,” says Adrian Zawadzki from Metro Properties.
