The fast food chain Subway will open a new unit in Bucharest, in the UpGround Business Center in Pipera, to the north of Bucharest.
This is the chain’s third restaurant in Bucharest, having opened the first one opened in Victoriei Square and another in Sun Plaza shopping center. Two more restaurants, in Pitesti and in Timisoara are to be opened shortly.
This year, Subway fast food chain plans to open in Romania 20 units. In 2011, Subway had over 33,400 restaurants in the world and ranks itself as the largest such chain globally.
