French retailer Auchan plans to open five new stores across Poland, the gazeta.pl website reports, including the one that’s now under construction in the city of Łomianki. The latest investment is set for completion next year, and would be Auchan’s first in the city. The facility will offer 100 retail units upon completion, along with a stand-alone Leroy Merlin DIY store. Auchan representatives said they hope Leroy Merlin will open stores in other projects it has under development in other parts of Poland.
