The Italian fashion retailer Terranova will open a store in the Cocor department store in downtown Bucharest. The transaction was brokered by DTZ. The new Terranova store will occupy a total area of 1,080 sqm and will be the largest of its 15 Romanian stores that are currently open.
Other new brands are expected to move into Cocor, both in the fashion and entertainment segments, says Esther Enache, Senior Retail Consultant, DTZ.
Recently, Cocor announced that it will open a five-screen cinema in the autumn, part of the management’s modernization strategy which involves a widening of the range of shopping and entertainment offering. Cocor was reopened in October 2010, following an investment of €24.5m.
