The first mall in Ploiesti with five months before completion

19 June 2012

Construction of the first mall in Ploiesti – AFI Palace Ploiesti developed by NEPI and Carrefour Property – is open to open its doors within five months. The developers say they will work 24 x 7 in order to finish the project on time, if necessary.
The roof and flooring of the building are almost done, while some interior installation work is currently underway. The official deadline for the project is November 15.

The first space in the shopping center should be handed over in August to Inditex, which has rented space for several brands including Zara and Bershka. Currently, 75 percent of the space has been leased, and Martin Slabbert, managing director NEPI, says that by the end of July, the occupancy rate will be 90 percent.

Tenants already on board include Cora, Altex, Cinema City, Zara, Bershka, H&M, Orsay, Arsis Vodafone Sensiblu, Samsonite, Maxbet, Musette, Splendor, McDonalds and Pizza Dominium. An investment of €65m, AFI Palace Ploiesti will have a GLA of 28,000 sqm.
