Customers are coming back to Czech shopping centers according to recent research by the ICSC. While their numbers dropped slightly last year by 2 million, in 2012 the trend appears to have turned around, as the ICSC foresees total annual visits of 300 million. In 2011, shopping centers in Prague and in Moravia saw the biggest downturns, but the daily Metro quotes the Czech ICSC committee chairman Jan Kubíček as saying that the regions actually thrived. Major shopping centers across the country will be the main driver of the visitor growth this year.
