Two major retailers are to move into Galeria Bursztynowa shopping mall, after signing an agreement for nearly 16,000 sqm. The world’s third retailer Tesco is to take up 7,869 sqm of space at the ongoing mall, while OBI was agreed to take a separate, 8,000 sqm store.
“Talks on new leases which are expected to expand the mall’s offer are now underway,” says Tomasz Górski, senior negotiator at Cushman & Wakefield, who secured the transactions. “The presence of an international food retailer and a well-known DIY store will certainly be an incentive to other companies”, he adds.
Now underway at the intersection of Gorbatowa and Żebrowskiego Streets in the city of Ostrołęka, Galeria Bursztynowa is to provide 35,000 sqm of total space, with 30,000 sqm intended for lease. The project’s owner, Narev Inwestycje, expects to deliver in November 2013.
