Raiffeisen Bank has opened its new financial center in Nyíregyháza, which will create hundreds of new workplaces. The center is being built with the support of the Hungarian government and the local government of Nyíregyháza, after the first part of the construction the center will initially provide 150, and later 600-800 new jobs. The decision to open the center in Nyíregyháza was based on the city’s good infrastructure, the good location of the 2,700 sqm A-category office block where the center will be and a wealth of qualified job candidates in the area. Sándor Czomba, state secretary of the Hungarian Ministry for National Development said that the state provides financial support for retraining courses, and cooperation with nearby universities is planned.
