GTC has announced it plans to open a second shopping mall in Bulgaria. Galeria Burgas is scheduled to open May 15, and is currently 90 percent let. The mall will provide 35,000 sqm of space to the local retail market, serviced by with 1,200 parking spots. The project was jointly financed by the EBRD and Unicredit. Located by the shore of the Black Sea, Burgas is Bulgaria’s fourth biggest city, with over 215,000 citizens. It marks GTC’s second retail investment in the region, following Galleria Stara Zagora, which opened at the end of 2010.
