Cinema City Park Hostivař has closed its doors, following the worst year since 2006 for Prague multiplexes. Cinema visits were down 20 percent compared to 2010 in Prague. While it’s the third operator to have used the space at Park Hostivař, Cinema City does appear to have a knack for picking losers. It was forced to close the multiplex in Novodvorská Plaza at the end of 2008 due to insufficient sales. The 8-screen theater had a total capacity of 1,730.
