Nhood Services Poland develops partnership with Kodano Optyk brand

Nhood Services Poland, which provides specialist services for the real estate industry, including the commercialisation of retail space, is developing cooperation with the Kodano Optyk brand. Since April, customers of the Auchan Mikołów Shopping Centre have been able to benefit from the extensive optical offer. This is the fifth location of the Kodano Optyk brand in facilities managed by the Nhood Services Poland team.

Nhood Services Poland is responsible for cooperation with tenants, commercialisation and re-commercialisation in 54 retail facilities across Poland. These include facilities of varying sizes and characteristics.

“When shaping the tenant-mix at individual facilities, we pay particular attention to ensuring that their offer is as diverse as possible and meets customers’ expectations. In the case of Auchan Mikołów Shopping Centre, we have been expanding the offer in synergy with Mikołów Park, our new facility that will open in the autumn. Through our activities we want to create a diverse and attractive shopping destination for the entire region,” says Kinga Zabłocka, senior commercialisation manager at Nhood Services Poland.

The benefits of working with Nhood Services Poland have been recognised by the Kodano Optyk brand, whose stores are located in 5 facilities managed by Nhood Services Poland. In recent months, Kodano Optyk has opened its showrooms in Auchan Legnica Shopping Centre and Auchan Mikołów Shopping Centre. These are highly popular facilities in their respective cities, and the brand sees its presence there as an important step in the development of its sales network.

Kodano Optyk is a Polish chain of optical stores. It opened its first salon in Poland in 2016 and is about to reach 100 stores. In June alone, Kodano Optyk will open seven new locations. The chain intends to invest heavily and develop its network of stationary salons in shopping malls, retail parks and downtown locations, i.e. in all good locations that concentrate commerce.

“We aim to maintain the lowest prices in the optical market in class product categories and to offer the best and most attractive promotions to our customers, both stationary and online. Kodano Optyk optical stores are currently the cheapest optical stores in the market. In the face of rising prices, keeping prices low becomes a challenge, but by owning our own brands and manufacturing contact lenses, we are able to achieve this,” says Konrad Kuska, franchise manager at Kodano Optyk.

The high growth rate of the Kodano Optyk brand sales network has also been made possible by opening up to the franchise system, and satisfied franchisees testify to the network’s success and ever-growing popularity.
